VERB ( KATA KERJA)

 

Verb is there a word that shows or states an action or work that has been done, is being done, or will be done, namely: 

To cry 

To write

To make to say 

To go 

To buy 

To bring

To run 

To read 

In addition to verbs showing actions, but in English there are also verbs that do not show actions but only show conditions or forms, for example: 

To be 

To have 

To become 

To seem

Verbs are classified into several groups: 

1. Infinitives ( kata kerja dasar ) 

Are verbs that have not changed form are: 

Infinitives:

To make , make 

To say , say 

To walk , walk 

To buy , buy 

To talk , talk 

Not infinitives: 

Making, made , makes 

Saying, said , says 

Walking , walked, walks 

Buying, bought,buys 

Talking talked ,talks 

A. Infinitives without "to"

* after  auxiliary verb , can , may,must,shall,will,do 

Example: 

-you can eat this food 

-they will come here tomorrow

- he may sleep on my bed tonight 

* before need or dare Deny sentence 

- I dare not go alone to malang 

B. Infinitives with "to"

To decide 

To hope 

To forget

To try 

To invite 

To teach 

To tell 

To allow

To begin 

To refuse 

etc.

Example: 

- I like to buy some candies for my little brother 

- I decide to go with him 

- I try to help my mother in the kitchen
