ADJECTIVE ( KATA SIFAT )

Adjectives (adjectives) are words that are used to limit the use of nouns by giving the nature of the noun.In grammar (grammar), adjectives (adjectives) can divided into several groups, namely:

1. Descriptive Adjective 

Descriptive Adjctive  is an adjective that describes the nature and condition of a person, animal, plant or thing. Here are some examples of words that are included in descriptive adjectives, for example:

big (besar)

stupid (bodoh)

kind (baik hati)

rich (kaya)

happy (bahagia)

thin(kurus)

wild (buas)

bad (buruk)

long (panjang)

high (tinggi)

2. Numeral Adjective (Number Adjective)

Numeral Adjective (adjective number) is an adjective that describes a number or numbers. Numeral adjectives can be divided into several groups, namely:

A. Cardinal Number (Ordinary Number). Cardinal numbers (ordinary numbers) are numbers known as "whole numbers", which are integers starting from zero (0) to infinity.ral adjective

b. Ordinal number 

An ordinal number is a number that indicates the position or order of something in relation to other numbers, like, first, second, third, and so on. This order or sequence may be according to the size, importance, or any chronology. Let us understand the ordinal numbers with an example. Ten students participated in a contest. Out of them, the top winners were given medals and were ranked as 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. In this case, the positions: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd are ordinal numbers.

3. Quantitative adjective 

is an adjective that describes the amount of an object .Some words are included in the quantitative adjective

a few (banyak)

a little (sedikit)

some (beberapa)

much (banyak)

enough (cukup)

several (beberapa)
